Marketing Data Analyst Intern, Uber Eats

At Uber, I worked within the marketing department in the Uber Eats vertical, supporting local and national marketing campaigns.

During my time at Uber Eats, I conducted user segmentation and offer analysis for diverse brands, crafting tailored promotions and evaluating their effectiveness. I also facilitated cross-functional collaboration, securing approval for a $55k project. I self-taught SQL, enhancing my analytical capabilities.

User Segmentation and Targeted Offers: I designed and analyzed numerous tests for various offers on the platform, including those for international food brands. For each test, I crafted user segments based on past purchase behavior, ensuring that promotions aligned closely with their preferences. After which I conducted thorough analyses to evaluate the performance of each offer, identifying those that surpassed predefined metrics. My findings were then reported back, providing valuable insights to inform future promotional strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Project Approval: Compiled use cases from cross-functional teams, created and presented a pitch deck to the team lead, gaining approval to purchase external data sets for a project costing $55k.
